Job summary

Jones Engineering is seeking a Geospatial Surveyor/Site Engineer to join our Collinstown-based team in Ireland. You will conduct field and office surveying, support construction accuracy, and utilize modern survey tools and BIM workflows.

The role requires precision, strong communication, and the ability to work with clients and contractors on project progress. We offer a competitive salary package and opportunities for CPD and career progression within a long-established engineering contractor

Qualifications

Degree or relevant experience in surveying/geomatics or engineering.
High computer literacy and familiarity with BIM workflows.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

Perform detailed field and office surveying work (Survey Control Network / Laser Scanning / Setting Out).
Prepare and analyse data for construction accuracy.
Utilise modern survey methods and devices (Total Stations, Mobile Laser Scanning).
Work with post processing software such as AutoCAD, Leica Infinity, Navvis Ivion, Register 360, Starnet, Navisworks.
Attend daily/weekly meetings with client and contractors to discuss progress and deliver reports.
Any other duties required by the contractor.
