Job summary

McCallion Group is seeking a Site Engineer with strong surveying and site coordination skills to ensure accurate setting-out across projects in Ireland. You will work with Site Managers, Project Managers and design teams to ensure alignment and quality on every phase.

You will use total stations and GPS, supervise on-site works, maintain QA records, and travel to sites across Ireland as required. Competitive salary and pension contributions offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in setting-out/site engineering.
• Proficient with total stations, GPS and surveying instruments.
• Strong understanding of civil works, concrete and steel structures.
• Engineering degree or construction-related discipline.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Willingness to travel across Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Carry out precise setting-out and surveying on site.
• Check and interpret drawings, specs and levels.
• Coordinate with Site Managers, Project Managers and design team.
• Supervise site activities, subcontractors and trades to meet programme and QA.
• Maintain accurate QA records and as-built information.
• Identify and resolve technical issues ensuring compliance with specs.
• Create 3D models for GPS/upload to GPS equipment.
