Job summary

Jones Engineering is recruiting Geospatial Surveyors to join our Cork and Limerick offices. You will perform detailed field and office surveying work to support construction accuracy and BIM workflows across multiple projects.

You will use Total Stations, Mobile Laser Scanning devices and post-processing software such as AutoCAD, Leica Infinity, Navisworks and Navvis Ivion. The role emphasizes teamwork, communication and delivering high-quality surveying data for our clients.

Qualifications

• Degree in Surveying, Geomatics or Engineering, or relevant experience.
• Strong technical and analytical abilities.

Job Description

We are currently recruiting Geospatial Surveyors to join our team at our Cork and Limerick offices.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed field and office surveying work (Survey Control Network / Laser Scanning / Setting Out).
• Prepare and analyse data for construction accuracy.
• Utilise modern survey methods and survey devices such as Total Stations and Mobile Laser Scanning devices.
• Work with Post processing software such as AutoCAD, Leica Infinity, Navvis Ivion, Register 360, Starnet, Navisworks, etc
• Attend Daily/Weekly Meetings with Client and Contractors to discuss project progress and deliver reports.
• Any other duties as required by the contractor.

Skills And Requirements

• Minimum (Degree in Surveying, Geomatics or Engineering) or relevant experience.
• Demonstrable levels of technical knowledge with practical application.
• Understand scopes of work and project requirements.
• A high degree of computer literacy and familiarity with BIM workflows.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work as part of a team and on their own initiative with Excellent communication skills.
• Possess a full driving licence.
