Job summary

RSK Ireland Ltd. in Dublin (hybrid) is seeking a full-time Geo-Environmental Consultant to join the team. You will run and support Phase I & II geo-environmental investigations, conduct site works, sample groundwater and surface water, and log soils to standards.

The role requires 2+ years of relevant experience, a relevant degree, and willingness to spend significant time on-site. CPD and team collaboration are emphasized.

Qualifications

• BSc in Geology or related environmental subject.
• MSc in Geology, Hydrogeology or Contaminated Land related subject preferable but not essential.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of laboratory testing and interpreting results.

Responsibilities

• Run and support Phase I & II geo-environmental ground investigations with senior support.
• Conduct site works using intrusive investigation methods.
• Perform groundwater, surface water and ground gas sampling to relevant standards.
• Soil logging to current standards and laboratory scheduling.
• Prepare Preliminary Risk Assessments/Phase I Desk Studies.
• Draft Generic Quantitative Risk Assessments.
• Support and coordinate a variety of projects.
• Maintain and develop technical capability through CPD.
