Job summary

Kinisla is recruiting a General Operator for its Newmarket site in Co. Cork. You will operate the wastewater treatment plant, monitor processes, and ensure regulatory compliance while maintaining plant hygiene and safety standards.

Working hours are Mon-Fri with alternate weekend shifts; occasional flexible hours may be discussed. The role offers hands-on skill development in a dynamic dairy-processing environment within a growing company.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an operator.
• Mechanically minded and problem-solving oriented.
• Experience with fault finding.
• Experience with wastewater is advantageous but not necessary.
• Drivers license is a necessity.
• Forklift license, Confined Spaces, Working at Heights and Handling Chemicals or willingness to complete (company provided).

• Daily running of the wastewater treatment plant.
• Following processes and operating machinery.
• Process monitoring and completing record sheets and sampling.
• Sample analysis to monitor WWTP process.
• Ensure compliance with Regulatory Bodies.
• General housekeeping - washing and cleaning plant/ yard areas.
