Job summary

Kinisla is recruiting a General Operative for our Listowel site in Ireland. This is a full-time, seasonal position with a 12-hour rotating days and nights shift pattern.

Join a busy dairy processing environment where you will support production, quality checks, stock management and equipment set-ups. You’ll work safely, communicate clearly and adapt quickly in a team-focused setting.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Strong written, numerical and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in food manufacturing (desirable).
• Ability to complete standard work at full line speed.
• Proficient with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Work safely and promote safe practices on the team.
• Check product quality and take samples as required.
• Manage stock and order ingredients and packaging materials.
• Set up, run, and change over production areas and lines.
• Load and unload pallets and deliveries.
• Operate a forklift.
• Keep work areas and equipment clean and hygienic.
• Record and report production and operational data accurately.
• Escalate production issues promptly to the Line Manager.

We are recruiting for a General Operative to join our Kinisla site in Listowel.

This is a full-time, seasonal role with a shift pattern of 12 hours rotating days and nights.

Where will you work?

Listowel is where Kinisla originated. The site has one of the largest facilities in Kinisla, where we process large quantities of milk to produce range of products, like Dairy Proteins, Primary Dairy Ingredients, Dairy Flavours and more. The site has onsite parking and canteen. It’s conveniently located close to N69 road and it’s 20 minutes by walk from the Listowel town centre.

What will you be doing?

Your responsibilities as the General Operative will include:

• Working safely and promoting safe practices across the team.
• Checking product quality and taking samples as required.
• Managing stock and ordering ingredients and packaging materials.
• Setting up, running and changing over production areas and lines.
• Loading and unloading pallets and deliveries.
• Operating a forklift.
• Keeping work areas and equipment clean and hygienic.
• Recording and reporting production and operational data accurately.
• Escalating production issues promptly to the Line Manager.
