Job summary

Kinisla is seeking a General Operator to join our team in Newmarket, Co. Cork. The successful candidate will operate the wastewater treatment plant, monitor processes and maintain records.

This role offers hands-on experience across plant operations and the opportunity to contribute to reliability and efficiency. The ideal candidate has prior operator experience, is mechanically minded with fault-finding skills, holds a valid driver's license, and is willing to complete additional certifications

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an operator.
• Mechanically minded and problem solving orientated.
• Experience with fault finding.
• Waste water experience advantageous but not required.
• Driver's license is a necessity.
• Forklift license, Confined Spaces, Working at Heights and Handling Chemicals or willingness to complete (company provided).

General Operator - Newmarket

About the Role

Here at Kinisla, we're currently recruiting for a General Operator to join our team in Newmarket, Co. Cork. The successful candidate will become an integral part of our Operating Team carrying out various tasks across our site. Responsibilities will include but not limited to; diagnosing and repairing faults, testing wastewater, making accurate adjustments to maintain compliance, monitor testing's in the lab and washing drains. This position offers the opportunity to add to your skills in a dynamic environment while contributing to the reliability and efficiency of our operations.

Working hours: Mon-Fri & every second weekend. Flexible working hours are open to discussion.

What will I be doing?

• Daily running of the wastewater treatment plant
• Following processes and operating machinery
• Process monitoring and completing record sheets and sampling
