Job summary

Arthur Mallon Foods in Ireland seeks General Operatives for the Meat Prep area to support a high-quality, safe production line. You will de-box meat, input data, and operate mincing and chopping equipment in a chilled facility while adhering to safety standards. Strong teamwork and flexibility with hours are essential.

Arthur Mallon Foods is Ireland's leading and most decorated sausage manufacturer, rooted in a rich tradition of craft butchery since 1942. People are at the heart of our team, and we are seeking General Operatives to join our friendly and supportive team in our state-of-the-art centre of excellence.

We are seeking Operatives to carry out duties within our Meat Prep area in Production to supply to customers with a product of high quality which is both safe and meets legal standards.

The Role

• De- boxing meat


• Formulation of recipes


• Inputting of data


• Operation of mincing and chopping equipment


• Adhering to safety and hygiene standards.


• Working alongside our production team to meet production goals/targets and maintain product quality.

The Person

• Previous experience in meat preparation or a related field is preferred but not essential


• Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.


• Ability to move product of up to 25kgs around a chilled production facility


• Basic spoken and written English to assist good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.


• Basic computer skills


• Flexibility with working hours and willingness to provide cover for our evening shift as required is essential
