Job summary

ABP Food Group in Ireland is seeking Production Operatives to join our production teams across Abattoir, Loading Bay, Coldstore and Boning Hall. Skilled or unskilled, this is an excellent opportunity to develop and learn new skills within a great working environment.

You will receive in‑house training. The role requires strong attention to detail, drive and resilience, with the possibility of forklift experience being beneficial.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling tasks.
• Driven, confident and resilient with a can‑do attitude.
• Solid problem‑solving skills and willingness to learn.
• Forklift driving experience is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work on own initiative and as part of a team in a production setting.
• Engage in physical work with lifting and carrying.
• Pack orders within the packing area efficiently.
• Use knives and saws as part of the packing process.
• Oversee automated processing equipment on the line.
• Assist on the disassembly line as required.
• Perform other similar onsite tasks as directed.

Candidate Requirements:

• Problem solving skills & new ideas
• Experience in Forklift Driving would be beneficial but not a requirement

The Role:

As part of the production team you may be required to:

• Work on own initiative and as part of a team.

• Pack orders within our packing hall
• Using tools such as knives and saws
• Overseeing automated processing equipment.
• Working on an disassembly line
