Job summary

The Rehab Group in Ireland is seeking a General Operative (Enterprises) to join our production team at 22 Main St, Maryborough, Portlaoise, Co. Laois. This fixed-term role covers assembling, labelling and packing kits to strict specifications while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Working 25.5 hours per week in a busy production environment, you will take direction, contribute to process improvements and support the facility's long-term sustainability. Closing date 04/10/2026.

Qualifications

• No minimum education required.
• Be able to take direction and work on own initiative.
• Be capable of maintaining required level of quality control.

Responsibilities

• Label, assemble and pack kits to defined specifications, meeting daily production targets.
• Work with the supervisor and team to identify and implement work practices that improve efficiency and quality.
• Identify, develop and deliver production opportunities to support long-term sustainability of the facility.
• Adhere to safe working practices and wear PPE to comply with Health & Safety protocols.

Job Title: General Operative (Enterprises)

Fixed Term Contract – 12 Months, 25.5 hours per week

Job Purpose

Reporting to the Interim Unit Manager, the purpose of the role is to label, assemble and dispatch kits in accordance with specification and quality standards. To assist in a variety of production processes, ensuring a high level of safe work practices along with health & safety practices are followed.

Duties will include labelling, assembling kits, quality monitoring and packing.

Minimum Education & Experience required

• No Minimum required
• Working as part of a team in a busy production environment**.**
• Be able to take direction and work on own initiative
• Be capable of maintaining required level of quality control

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Label, assemble and pack kits to defined specifications, whist meeting daily production targets, to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Work with the supervisor and other members of the team to identify and implement work practices that will improve both the efficiency and quality of the work produced.
• Work with the supervisor and other members of the team to identify, develop and deliver similar production opportunities that ensure the long term sustainability of the facility.
• Adhere to safe working practices and contribute to the creation and maintenance of a healthy and safe working environment, ensuring PPE is worn in order to comply with the Health & Safety practices at the plant.
