Job summary

BWG Foods in Galway is seeking a Goods-In Operative for a full-time permanent role based at Value Centre, Galway. You will replenish chill and frozen stock, check deliveries and manage stock while ensuring paperwork is up to date and storage areas remain compliant with HACCP and safety standards.

The role requires proactive, flexible, and motivated individuals with warehouse experience and the ability to operate in ambient, refrigerated and freezer environments.

Qualifications

• Good organisational and time management abilities required.

• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards is essential.

Responsibilities

Goods-In Operative – Chill & Frozen Stock Management

BWG Foods are currently recruiting for a General Operative on a Full-Time Permanent basis based in Value Centre, Galway.

Duties

• Replenish the chill and frozen storage areas.
• Checking in chill and frozen deliveries into the Depot.
• Ensuring all required paperwork and administration is completed and up to date.
• Stock management.
• Ensuring compliance with all Food Safety and HACCP requirements.
• Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and Security requirement.
• Attend monthly briefings/meetings.
• Process stock returns, damaged stock and out of date products.
• Ensure all areas maintained and clean and tidy at all times.
• Assist customers.
• Other associated duties as requested by your manager.
• Required to operate in various temperature environments: ambient, chilled, and frozen.
