Job summary

Matrix Recruitment Group has a contract role for a General Operative in a GMP-regulated warehouse environment in Carlow. The 11‑month contract runs on a 2‑shift cycle with weekly rotations, focused on safe receiving, storage, and issuing of materials while maintaining strict quality standards.

You will work under warehouse leadership, perform real-time ERP/WMS transactions (SAP/Oracle), conduct cycle counts, and support continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years in warehouse or logistics roles in regulated environments.
• Experience using ERP/WMS systems (SAP, Oracle).
• Certified or eligible for material handling equipment operation.
• Strong documentation and data integrity understanding.
• Good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Prioritises safety for yourself and your team.
• Execute accurate material staging, transfers, and issuing to manufacturing and labs.
• Handle receiving, inspection, and verification of inbound deliveries.
• Operate material handling equipment safely (e.g., forklifts, pallet trucks).
• Perform real-time inventory transactions in ERP/WMS systems (SAP).
• Support regular cycle counts, audits, and compliance requirements.
• Maintain an organized, clean warehouse environment following 5S principles.
• Engage in continuous improvement projects and support off-site logistics when needed.

Your New Job:

You’ll play a key role in daily warehouse operations, making sure materials are safely received, moved, and issued, all in line with strict procedures. You’ll report into warehouse leadership, all while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

What Are We Looking For?:

• Leaving Certificate or equivalent secondary education


• 1–3+ years in warehouse, logistics, or similar roles in a regulated environment


• Experienced using ERP/WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)


• Certified or eligible for material handling equipment operation


• Strong understanding of documentation and data integrity


• Great attention to detail, communication skills, and teamwork attitude


• Physically able to meet manual handling requirements
