Job summary

Company Details Confidential is recruiting a Warehouse Operator for our client’s busy production facility on the outskirts of Galway city. You will receive, store and supply frozen and ambient materials, packaging and stock, ensuring accuracy and compliance with safety standards.

This fast-paced, hands-on role requires good organisational skills, the ability to work independently in limited space, and flexibility to cover morning and late shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum Experienced Required (Years): 1
• Minimum Qualification: Level 4 (incl Leaving Certificate/ Leaving Certificate Applied/ Leaving Certificate Vocational Programme)
• Forklift experience desirable
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and frozen materials
• Good understanding of stock control, traceability and stock rotation
• Well organised, reliable, punctual and able to work under pressure
• Salary rate for this role is paid on an hourly basis and is negotiable depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Receive, check and store raw materials and packaging.
• Ensure stock is labelled, traceable and rotated using FIFO/FEFO.
• Organise warehouse and external storage areas efficiently.
• Pick and deliver packaging and materials to production on time.
• Transport stock between warehouses and the main factory.
• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely.
• Maintain accurate stock records and assist with stock counts.
• Investigate discrepancies and report shortages or issues.
• Keep storage areas clean, safe, organised and audit-ready.
• Follow BRCGS, food safety, hygiene and company procedures.

Job Description

Bridge Executive Recruitment is currently engaged to source a Warehouse Operator for our client who have their highly reputable production facility located on the outskirts of Galway city on a permanent basis. This is a fast-paced, hands on role where responsible for receiving, storing and supplying frozen and ambient materials, packaging and stock. The role requires strong organisational skills, flexibility and the ability to work independently in limited warehouse space.

Shift Pattern

Morning: 7:00am-3:00pm

Late: 11:00am-8:00pm

Flexibility is required for this role including occasional changes to working hours and additional hours when necessary. Candidates must be willing to work either shift depending on business requirements. Additional shift allowance will be paid for late/weekend shifts worked.

Candidate Requirements

Warehouse, food production, stores or manufacturing experience preferred. Forklift experience or certification desirable. Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and frozen materials. Good understanding of stock control, traceability and stock rotation. Well organised, reliable, punctual and able to work under pressure. Able to work independently and respond to changing priorities. Good communication skills and a strong sense of responsibility. Salary rate for this role is paid on an hourly basis and is negotiable depending on experience.
