Job summary

Chanelle Pharma is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join the team at the Loughrea facility. You will work in a fast-paced GMP warehouse handling receiving, picking, staging and shipping of materials and finished goods, with a focus on accuracy and safety.

The role operates across Day and Evening shifts (39-hour week). Training provided for forklift operation; strong communication and computer skills are essential to support manufacturing and distribution.

Qualifications

• Experience in a pharmaceutical cGMP environment with EU GMP and US FDA knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with computers, Word and Excel.
• Previous GMP warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• As our Warehouse Operative, you will support receiving, storage and shipping processes.
• Contribute to accuracy and housekeeping in a GMP environment.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; report incidents to supervision.
• Communicate with team leads to plan daily tasks and priorities.

In this role you will report into Warehouse Managers / Team Leads.

In this role you will report into Warehouse Managers / Team Leads.
The warehouse comprises of very different areas of work as per list below and people have different roles within these areas:

• Warehouse Administration
• Goods Receipt (Raw Materials, 3rd. Party, Packaging, Offsite)
• Sampling (Raw Material and 3rd. Party) Applying Approved labels to Raw Materials.
• Cycle Counting
• Picking Work Orders for Manufacturing (Medical, Veterinary and Dispensing)
• Staging Work Orders for Manufacturing
• Material Handling (Pallets to and from Manufacturing)
• Warehouse drivers. (Moving Material between buildings)
• Put away of Pallets.
• Shipping Medical and 3rd party plus Home Veterinary

Currently we operate over 2 shifts (Day and Evening 39-hour week) and staff may be requested to change working hours as per company policy.
Location: Onsite at our facility in Loughrea.
As our Warehouse Operative, your key responsibilities will be as follows:

• As a service Department our main priority is to keep Manufacturing supplied with product from Receiving in Raw Material and packaging to Shipping Finished Goods and all stages in between.
• Housekeeping is everyone’s responsibility in the warehouse, and we believe in a clean as you go approach. First impressions matter. (from offices, desks to warehouse floor / racking)
• Accuracy and attention to detail is also a fundamental part of our work as most of what we do is paper based, so all paperwork needs to be legible and neat.
• As we work in a GMP Environment Adherence to the Sop’s and following all policies and procedures is critical.
• Good communication within the Team and with other Departments both verbal and written is very important.
• Be able to plan your day and organize your time to complete the priorities daily.
• Communicate issues with your Team Lead / Manager.
• Report incidents / accidents immediately to Team Lead / Manager and get Incident forms completed and passed to H&S Officer.
• Have respect for your colleagues and treat everyone with the respect you would expect for yourself.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Fork truck / Turret truck license would be an advantage but not essential as Training will be given.
• Excellent written and communication skills.
• Experience working within a pharmaceutical cGMP Environment; with knowledge of EU GMP and US FDA Guidelines
• Knowledge of Computers, Word and Excel.
• Previous experience of working in a GMP Warehouse.

• Do not be afraid to ask questions as this is a good way to learn.
