Job summary

Careeriser-Limited in Cork is seeking a General Foreman responsible for overseeing the full building project lifecycle from site setup to delivery, while maintaining strict control over safety, quality, schedule and budget.

You will lead all trades on site, coordinate daily activities, review drawings and specs, and drive on-site performance to ensure projects are delivered on time and to the required standard.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of direct experience with a Main Contractor.
• Experience overseeing site operations from setup to delivery.
• Strong leadership and coordination capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end site operations, coordinating activities, materials, subcontractors and budget to deliver on time.
• Interpret drawings and specifications to anticipate on-site challenges and prevent delays.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the full building project lifecycle from site setup to final delivery while maintaining strict control over safety, quality, schedule, and budget. In this role, you will oversee all trades on site to ensure seamless execution across all phases of construction.

• Project Lifecycle & Site Leadership: Oversee end-to-end site operations, coordinating daily activities, material logistics, subcontractor performance, and budget adherence to deliver projects on time.

• Technical & Operational Expertise: Proficient in interpreting complex drawings, structural specs, and reports, using a proactive approach to solve on-site challenges and prevent project delays.

• Safety, Quality & Compliance: Lead site safety initiatives, ensure strict compliance with statutory regulations and environmental standards, and maintain clean, high-quality site operations.

• Stakeholder Management & Drive: Strong, proactive communicator equipped to collaborate effectively with design and commercial teams, manage stakeholders, and thrive in fast-paced environments.
