Job summary

Our client, an iconic Irish craft, design and gift brand, is exclusive with Cpl to recruit an experienced Store Manager for their Galway city store. Reporting to the Retail Director, you will lead a team, coach on operations and customer service, and drive sales.

You'll oversee visual merchandising, stock levels, budgeting, and loyalty program engagement, work across buying and marketing, and ensure a 5-star shopper experience.

Qualifications

• Experience operating in a fast-paced retail environment focused on sales and margin.
• Proven ability to drive sales via product knowledge and merchandising standards.
• Ability to adapt in a changing retail environment and try new ideas.
• Proven coaching ability to develop teams.
• Ability to build effective teams to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team to meet KPI targets and deliver 5-star customer service.
• Drive sales through upselling, cross-selling and loyalty programs.
• Optimize product visual merchandising and brand presentation.
• Monitor sales, margins, and stock performance against budgets.
• Coordinate with Buyers and Marketing to maximise product performance.
• Support local marketing initiatives and store P&L.
• Manage stock levels and space optimization with reports.
• Train colleagues on loyalty program signup and benefits.
