Job summary

Breagh Recruitment seeks an experienced Site Manager for a major mixed-use development in Galway City. You will lead day-to-day construction activities, coordinate multiple trades and ensure safety and quality across a complex, multi-storey project.

The role requires strong subcontractor management, an ability to drive programme and a track record with Tier 1 Irish contractors. Long-term Galway-based work with a competitive package is on offer.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in construction site management.
• Strong main contractor experience.
• Experience delivering large-scale building projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing and site operations.
• Proven ability to manage subcontractors and drive programme.
• Strong understanding of quality and Health & Safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day construction activities on site.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors and trades.
• Drive works in line with the construction programme.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager, Engineers and design team.
• Monitor quality and ensure works meet required specifications.
• Manage labour, materials and site logistics.
• Ensure Health & Safety procedures are maintained.
• Attend progress and coordination meetings.
• Manage inspections, snagging and completion of works.
• Identify potential programme issues and resolve them early.
