Job description

Spencer Lennox is partnering with one of Ireland's top five law firms to recruit a solicitor to its Asset Management and Investment Funds group in Dublin. The opportunity offers high-quality international work, early client responsibility and a credible path to partnership within a large, collaborative team.

The practice has almost 40 fee earners, with depth at partner, senior associate, associate and trainee level. You will work across products and client teams with different partners, giving you the breadth to develop as a funds lawyer without being confined to one area. You will also have a line manager who takes an active interest in your development and workload.

The team has been involved in pioneering Irish funds structures and complex Central Bank approvals, including work across UCITS, ETFs, money market funds and fund redomiciliations. At 2-5 years' PQE, you will have meaningful involvement in matters and direct contact with clients, with responsibility increasing as you are ready for it and support available when needed.

The partnership is ambitious and collaborative. The emphasis is on getting work done as a team, sharing client relationships and developing commercially minded lawyers from an early stage. Each solicitor has a line manager who takes an active interest in their workload and development.

The firm has appointed 25 new partners over the past five years. Those appointments have been almost evenly split between men and women, and between lawyers who trained with the firm and those who joined laterally. This role offers a credible route to partnership for solicitors who want to develop their careers within the practice.

The firm is also investing in how legal work will be delivered. Every lawyer has access to Legora and Copilot, while recent firm hires across engineering, data analysis, legal innovation and technology reflect a substantial commitment to the next phase of legal practice.
