The Apex Group, a leading fund administration and risk management firm, is seeking a Risk Analyst in Limerick, Ireland. You will join the Fund Risk team, delivering robust risk oversight across UCITS/AIF funds and engaging with senior management and external stakeholders.

Reporting to the Head of Risk, you will develop risk analytics, contribute to governance frameworks, and mentor junior colleagues as the business scales globally.

Qualificações

• 2+ years of experience in UCITS and/or EU AIF frameworks.
• Finance or quantitative degree with certifications or progress towards FRM/PRM/CFA/CAIA.
• Understanding of AIFM and UCITS regulatory frameworks, especially risk management requirements.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills for stakeholders including portfolio managers and senior management.
• Energetic, solutions-driven team player who can collaborate with colleagues.
• Self-starter with a detail-oriented, pragmatic problem-solving approach.
• Adaptable and capable of addressing diverse client needs.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor investment risks of funds to align with investment objectives and regulatory constraints.
• Generate and enhance risk analytics using in-house and third-party tools.
• Assist in implementing Fund Risk Management framework for new product initiatives and launches.
• Prepare board reports with the Fund Risk team.
• Escalate material risk issues to the appropriate authority within management.
• Produce regular and exception-based risk reporting for fund boards and management.
• Draft risk-related documentation for onboarding of new clients (Risk Management Process, Risk Appetite Statements, etc.).
• Liaise with external stakeholders—investment managers, administrators, depositaries, law firms, etc.
