Job summary

U.S. Bank in Ireland is seeking an Alternative Investments Accountant to join a team responsible for accounting, administration and investor servicing for hedge funds, private equity funds and registered products.

You will calculate NAVs, review outputs, and ensure GAAP compliance while supporting day-to-day supervisory oversight and investor reporting. The role offers a hybrid schedule with in-office days and strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 2–5 years of portfolio/partnership accounting experience.
• Strong accounting, reporting and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Calculate net asset values, review team deliverables, and disseminate information to investment advisor and investors.
• Provide day-to-day supervisory oversight, including reviewing deliverables and training team members.
• Act as primary fund accountant on multiple relationships, ensuring GAAP-compliant accounting.
• Record trade information, income/expense activity and apply security valuations in the portfolio accounting system.
• Enter and reconcile investor contributions and withdrawals in the partnership accounting system.
• Allocate fund level profits to investors for statements preparation and distribution.
• Review fund expense analysis and expense processing.
• Prepare fund financial statements, audit and tax schedules.
