Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment in Ireland seeks an experienced Fund Accounting Manager (FTC) to lead a team delivering high‑quality NAV delivery and fund accounting services for a portfolio of alternative investment clients.

You will own client relationships, partner with internal stakeholders across the organisation, drive controls, continuous improvement, and development of staff within a high‑growth, well‑resourced function in Dublin.

Qualifications

• Experience in alternative funds and private markets.
• Proven track record in a senior leadership or Fund Accounting Manager role.
• Strong understanding of fund structures and regulatory requirements.
• Experience delivering timely and accurate NAV.
• Led teams and coached staff.

About Your New Job

This is an opportunity for an experienced Fund Accounting Manager (FTC) to lead a team responsible for the delivery of high-quality fund accounting services to a portfolio of alternative investment clients. The role combines people management, client relationship ownership, and operational oversight, with a strong focus on service excellence, controls, and continuous improvement. You will act as a senior point of contact for clients while partnering closely with internal stakeholders across the organisation.

What Skills You Need

• Significant experience in Alternative Funds, ideally including private markets
• Proven track record in a Fund Accounting Manager or senior leadership role
• Strong understanding of alternative fund structures, domiciles, and regulatory requirements
• Experience ensuring timely and accurate NAV delivery
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and drive effective remediation
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing teams
• Strong stakeholder and client relationship management skills
• Experience working with fund accounting systems (e.g. Investran, Geneva or similar)
• Strong data management and documentation review skills
