Job summary

• Finalise financial statements and complete reconciliations (holdings, accruals, trades, cash balances).
• Check and verify tax statements issued to the Tax Department.

What You Need to Know:

We have a fantastic 9-month contract opportunity for an experienced fund accounting professional. This is a great chance to join a collaborative team in a well-established organisation and contribute to key financial operations. This role offers a hybrid working model of 4 days working in the office and 1 day working from home.

Your New Job:

As a Senior Fund Accountant, you will be responsible for reporting and verifying mutual fund data for clients and internal stakeholders. This position requires you to work closely with various business groups and manage multiple fund-related tasks and notifications. The contract runs for nine months.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Compile and confirm mutual fund data for internal and external parties.
• Complete surveys and maintain detailed worksheets.
• Update and oversee mutual fund databases.
• Prepare financial and operational reports, as well as necessary notifications.
• Finalise financial statements and complete various reconciliations (holdings, accruals, trades, and cash balances).
• Check and verify tax statements issued to the Tax Department.

What Are We Looking For?

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of 5 years’ fund accounting experience.
• Direct experience with Geneva or Investran systems required.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team, with a proactive approach.
