HS Financial Technologies (HSFT) is seeking a Fund Accounting Intern to support the Fund Accounting team in Cork. You will participate in NAV production, reconciliations, and daily processing tasks under supervision, gaining exposure to corporate actions and pricing workflows.

The role focuses on developing accounting and technical skills, with induction training and ongoing development opportunities as part of a collaborative culture.

Qualifikationen

• Strong academic background with an interest in financial services.
• Student in accounting, business or finance program for internship.
• Familiar with MS Office tools; able to learn new systems quickly.
• Clear communicator who can articulate actions and root causes.
• Detail oriented, organized and able to work under deadline pressure.

Aufgaben

• Assist in the production of daily, weekly and monthly NAV per NAV checklists.
• Perform cash, position and market value reconciliations between HSFT, brokers and clients.
• Identify and investigate break items on reconciliations timely.
• Escalate fund accounting issues to the Supervisor and Manager.
• Ensure positions are priced correctly and verify corporate actions.
• Prepare daily P&L reports and review for reasonableness.
• Assist in audit process and participate in team meetings.
• Engage with internal service departments to resolve issues.
• Meet pre-agreed internal/external deadlines consistently.
