Job summary

Jobtailor in Cork, Ireland, is seeking an experienced Senior Fund Accountant to lead the Hedge Fund Accounting service delivery for key clients. You will oversee valuation preparation, KPI reporting, and client relationship management while driving efficiency and control across the team.

In this role you will manage a team, ensure timely month-end close, and collaborate with Investor Relations, Custody/Depositary, Product, and IT to support scalable, accurate reporting and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–4 years in Hedge Fund Accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Advanced knowledge of OTC derivatives and MS Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality service delivery of Fund Accounting to assigned clients.
• Review, approve and assist with preparation of daily, weekly and month-end valuations.
• Manage your team’s service standards and deadlines within a dynamic work environment.
• Support process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency.
• Collaborate with Investor Relations, Custody/Depositary, IT and Shared Services.
