Job summary

Quest Recruitment is assisting a leading independent financial services provider in expanding its Hedge Fund Accounting team. The Hedge Fund Accounting Supervisor will deliver accurate NAVs, review peers’ work, and ensure seamless client service while maintaining strong daily client interactions from a remote Ireland base.

You will manage a portfolio of hedge funds, review reconciliations and journal entries, and collaborate with Managers and Directors on technical matters.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hedge fund accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of NAV calculations, reconciliations and fund structures
• Experience in reviewing junior team members’ work
• Excellent communication skills and a client-focused mindset
• Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
• Accountancy qualification is desirable but not essential

Responsibilities

• Managing your own portfolio of hedge funds and ensuring timely NAV production
• Reviewing and signing off on reconciliations, investor allocations, pricing and journal entries
• Acting as the first point of contact for clients and providing updates
• Engaging with auditors, legal teams and other stakeholders as required
• Supporting fund launches and onboarding of new clients
• Providing training and technical support to junior team members
• Driving process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
