Job summary

Gourmet Food Parlour in Malahide, Ireland is seeking an experienced kitchen porter to join our team. You will keep a busy kitchen clean, safe and hygienic while supporting the head chef and wider team. This full-time role may involve early mornings, evenings, weekends and night shifts to cover busy periods.

We value reliability, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. You must have a valid work permit/visa for Ireland and comply with HACCP guidelines.

• Provide porter support in areas controlled by Head Chef.
• Carry out other duties as required.

We're looking for someone who's excited to come in to work every day and who's ready to develop the team, grow with the brand & tackle challenges. This role is a full time position and may include weekends. Good flexibility is needed.

Skills Required:

You will help to keep a kitchen running smoothly by making sure everything is clean, tidy, safe, and hygienic.

• Wash crockery and utensils
• Daily clean of kitchen areas
• Deep clean of kitchen equipment
• Keep store areas neat and tidy
• Provide Porter support with deliveries
• Keep waste areas clean and tidy, disposal of packaging, recycling .
• Provide Porter support in all areas controlled by Head Chef
• Accept training to enable safe completion of duties
• Carry out other duties as may reasonably be required from time to time
