Job summary

The Louis Fitzgerald Group is seeking a full-time Health and Safety Manager to lead H&S and environmental initiatives across all hospitality venues.

You will conduct risk assessments, ensure regulatory compliance, deliver staff training, investigate incidents, monitor performance, and drive audits and reporting to uphold the highest safety standards across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent is required.
• Experience of 5 years in a health and safety role.
• Valid HACCP/Level 4 Food Safety Management or equivalent.

The Fitzgerald Group are hiring a full-time, multi-site Health and Safety manager to lead health, safety, and environmental initiatives across all hospitality venues.

About The Role

• Risk Assessment: Identify and mitigate potential risks within the workplace.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation and standards.
• Training: Develop and deliver health and safety training programs for staff.
• Incident Investigation: Conduct thorough investigations of any health and safety incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Performance Monitoring: Regularly review and analyse health and safety performance metrics.
• Audit: Conduct regular health and safety audits and inspections.
• Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on health and safety performance and incidents.

Qualifications

• Education: Minimum NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent
• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a health and safety role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to provide authoritative advice on health and safety management issues.
• Certifications: Valid HACCP/Level 4 Food Safety Management or equivalent.
