Here For Now in Galway is hiring a Coffee Shop Barista/Assistant for a full-time, on-site role. We are a newly opened café on University Road, offering specialty coffee, pastries, smoothies and açaí bowls, with a relaxed atmosphere and 50 outdoor seats by the canal.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years barista experience, thrives in a busy customer-facing environment, and can help with opening and closing, till operation, and light food prep. Benefits include an employee discount and gym membership.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years’ barista experience required.
• Full-time role; not in college.
• Comfortable working in a busy customer-facing environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve specialty coffee, pastries, smoothies, açaí, & sandwiches.
• Take customer orders and operate the till.
• Keep the shop clean, tidy, and welcoming.
• Restock products and assist with light food prep.
• Open / close the shop.
