Job summary

Gourmet Food Parlour in Dublin is opening a new 8th Lock location and is seeking a friendly Barista to join the front-of-house team. You will craft quality coffee and beverages while delivering welcoming service from day one.

Training will be provided, with moves to the new restaurant after initial placement in central city or Santry sites, and you will have the chance to grow with a growing Irish hospitality business and progress as the team expands.

Qualifications

• Experience as a barista and knowledge of coffee preparation.
• Enjoys interacting with customers and delivering great service.
• Friendly, positive and welcoming demeanor.
• Team player with initiative and flexibility for daytime/evening/weekend shifts.

Join the Opening Team at Gourmet Food Parlour

We're getting ready to open our newest Gourmet Food Parlour restaurant at 8th Lock, Ashtown, Dublin 11, and we're looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Barista to join our team.

This is a great opportunity to be part of an exciting new opening, helping us create a welcoming atmosphere and deliver great coffee and service from day one.

Gourmet Food Parlour has grown from a single cafe into one of Ireland's leading hospitality businesses, with restaurants and catering operations across Dublin and Galway. We're passionate about great food, quality coffee and providing a friendly experience for every guest.

About The Role

As a Barista, you'll play an important part in our Front of House team, preparing quality coffee and other beverages while ensuring our guests receive friendly, efficient service.

Training may initially take place in one of our existing city centre or Santry locations before moving to our new 8th Lock restaurant.

About You

• Has previous barista experience and a good knowledge of coffee preparation
• Enjoys interacting with customers and delivering great service
• Has a friendly, positive and welcoming approach
• Works well as part of a team and can use their own initiative
• Is comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment
• Has flexibility to work daytime, evening and weekend shifts
