Job summary

iLabs is hiring a 1+ year Full Stack Developer to join our hybrid team in Battaramulla. You will design and implement scalable software using Java, Spring Boot, and React, building microservices and secure APIs for global clients.

You will collaborate with international teams, apply best practices, and leverage AI tools to boost productivity. Strong communication in English and experience with modern frontend and backend tech are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 1+ years of professional experience in Full Stack development.
• Strong expertise in React.js and modern frontend development practices.
• Solid understanding of Microservices, RESTful APIs, distributed systems, and event-driven design principles.
• Experience with web technologies including AJAX, JSON, HTTP, and responsive design.
• Familiarity with build tools like Webpack, Babel, npm.
• Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD, version control (Git), and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and refine software requirements.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, full-stack solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and React.
• Develop modern front-end applications using React.js and related technologies.
• Design and implement microservices-based architectures for scalability and resilience.
• Ensure software quality through testing, code reviews, and best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications across the stack.
• Work with distributed teams and clients to deliver high-quality software on schedule.
