Job summary

iLabs is seeking a skilled Full-stack Laravel Developer to join our on-site team in Battaramulla. You will develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using Laravel, Go, Java, Spring Boot, React.js, and Next.js.

Build APIs, implement secure authentication, optimize databases, and collaborate across teams to deliver scalable software. You must have 3+ years in Laravel and full-stack development, strong PHP/MySQL knowledge, and experience with AI-assisted development tools.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional Laravel and full-stack web development.
• Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, database design, and query optimization.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript with React/Next.js.
• Strong familiarity with Git, MVC pattern, microservices architecture and Agile/Scrum.
• Knowledge of web security, authentication, authorization, testing, debugging, caching, queues, and performance optimization.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and working with Linux environments; cloud platform experience is a plus.
• Mandatory experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, Gemini).
• Strong analytical and teamwork skills with clean, maintainable code.

• Troubleshoot, test, debug, and resolve technical issues while ensuring application security and reliability.
• Implement best practices for authentication, authorization, caching, and background job processing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain clean, scalable, and well-documented code.
• Support application deployment and maintenance in Linux, cloud, or hosting environments.
• Leverage AI-powered engineering tools, coding assistance, and AI agents to improve development productivity, code quality, testing, documentation, and problem solving workflows.

Job Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in Laravel and full-stack web development.

• Strong knowledge of PHP, Laravel, MySQL, database design, and query optimization.

• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, responsive design, and modern front-end frameworks such as React or Next.js.

• Strong familiarity with Git version control, MVC architecture, software design principles and design patterns, microservices architecture and Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

• Knowledge of web security, authentication, authorization, testing, debugging, caching, queues, and performance optimization.

• Experience integrating third-party APIs and working with Linux environments; cloud platform experience is a plus.

• Mandatory experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, Gemini) and AI-driven development workflows.
