Job summary

Fruition Group Ireland seeks an experienced Full Stack Engineer to build and scale a data-driven platform. You will work alongside engineering, data, product and ML colleagues to develop backend services, APIs and cloud pipelines supporting the forecasting product.

The role emphasizes ownership of at least one end-to-end system from design through production, with hands-on data pipeline work in a cloud environment. Primarily Python-based backend with some frontend exposure.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of commercial software engineering experience.
• Strong CS foundation and system design knowledge.
• End-to-end software system experience from design to production.
• Hands-on data pipelines in cloud environments (GCP/AWS/Azure).
• RESTful APIs, backend dev, modern architecture.
• Relational databases, CI/CD, testing and production deployment.
• Ability to balance technical quality with business priorities.
• Proactive, independent work style with collaboration across teams.
• Experience with front-end exposure (React/Vue/Angular).
• Familiarity with MLOps or data-intensive apps is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
• Own software systems from design through deployment and production support.
• Build and improve cloud-based data pipelines for ingestion and delivery.
• Develop end-to-end services spanning APIs, data workflows and databases.
• Build modern web applications and contribute across the stack as needed.
• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists and product teams on features.
• Improve cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines and tooling.
• Build secure, reliable, and maintainable applications for a growing customer base.
• Optimize performance, scalability and reliability of systems.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and engineering standards.
• Participate in code reviews, testing and CI/CD activities.
