Job summary

Three Ireland (Hutchison) Limited is seeking a Data Platform Engineer to build and manage scalable Data Science infrastructure. You will develop models, ETL processes and data pipelines, deploying end-to-end solutions and championing Data Science tools across the Data and AI Tribe.

You will mentor teams, integrate with business owners and technologists, and help design common data platform components in a fast-paced telecom environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to problem solve.
• Data Science model development experience.
• Data pipelines development experience (BigQuery and Datastage).
• Advanced knowledge of Python.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL.
• Manage and deploy CI/CD via Gitlab/GitHub.
• Strong technical writing to document complex DataScience models and ETL pipelines.
• Extensive data development skills.
• Experience with Unix and Windows.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder relationship skills.
• Data modelling and data architecture experience.
• Reporting tools experience (Cognos 11 or PowerBI).

Responsibilities

• Enforce standards across all technologies.
• Manage GCP cloud infrastructure.
• Review, approve and deploy all production changes (models, data pipelines).
• Monitor, investigate, fix and tune Data Science models and data pipelines.
• Build scalable code using Python and SQL in Google technologies.
• R&D future product releases in GCP.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines.
• Coordinate with external parties and internal stakeholders.
