Job summary

ZoomInfo is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join its core Enterprise Data Engineering team in Dublin. You will design and expand enterprise-scale data infrastructure, enabling internal teams to interact with data comprehensively.

You’ll own production pipelines, work with Airflow, DBT, and Python, and collaborate with ML engineers and product managers to deliver scalable solutions and reliable data quality across huge datasets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in data engineering, with leadership impact.
• Proven experience building/scaling data infrastructure for data-centric products.
• Experience supporting production data systems via on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance data pipelines using Airflow, DBT, and Python.
• Architect and optimize the data warehouse/lakehouse (Snowflake) as the single source of truth for customer data.
• Lead integration of diverse data sources (structured and unstructured) into the data ecosystem.
• Define roadmap priorities to drive data/AI capabilities and business value.
• Advise leadership on strategy, AI readiness, and infrastructure investment.
• Collaborate with ML engineers, data scientists, and product managers to translate needs into scalable solutions.
• Define, monitor, and enforce data quality SLAs across pipelines and products.
• Participate in on-call rotation, triage incidents, and drive root-cause analysis and postmortems.
• Triage production issues, escalate when needed, and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in code quality, architecture, and operations.
• Participate in architectural decisions and long-term planning for enterprise data infrastructure.
• Contribute to runbooks and on-call documentation to reduce resolution times.
