Autonomai Recruitment in Dublin is seeking a Full Stack Developer for Web Trading Applications. The role is primarily front-end focused, with back-end work, building high-performance interfaces used by traders in real time and contributing to scalable services and APIs.

You will collaborate with traders, quantitative teams, operations and engineers to translate complex requirements into intuitive products, implement real-time data flows via REST and WebSocket, and write clean, well-tested code

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency with React and familiarity with Node.js.
• Experience designing, building or consuming REST and WebSocket APIs.
• Experience with source code management (Git).
• Experience with databases such as MySQL/PostgreSQL.
• Strong object-oriented design skills.
• Genuine interest in trading, financial markets and real-time technology.

Full Stack Developer — Web Trading Applications

Location: Dublin

Experience: 2+ years

Build the technology that powers global financial markets. We are looking for talented Full Stack Developers who are excited by complex technical challenges, high-performance systems, and building products used in real time by traders across the globe.

Join a collaborative team of exceptional engineers building the next generation of web-based trading applications. This role is primarily front-end focused, with the remaining time dedicated to back-end development. You will create intuitive, high-performance user interfaces while also contributing to the scalable services and APIs that power them.

Working closely with traders, quantitative teams, operations and fellow engineers, you will solve challenging technical problems and deliver real-time trading, analytics, visualisation and reporting tools that have a direct impact on the business.

You will have the opportunity to influence technical decisions, contribute to architecture, and work on software where performance, usability and reliability are critical.

What we’re looking for

• 2+ years of professional software development experience
• Hands-on experience with React and familiarity with Node.js
• Experience designing, building or consuming remote APIs, including REST and WebSockets
• Experience with source code management, ideally Git
• Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL or kdb+
• Solid object-oriented design skills
• A genuine interest in trading, financial markets and real-time technology

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Java
• Exposure to trading platforms, market data, order management or financial analytics
• Experience building data-heavy, low-latency or real-time user interfaces
• Interest in performance optimisation, UI architecture and scalable system design
