Job summary

Selby Jennings, in partnership with a leading global quantitative trading and technology firm, seeks a C++ Developer to design, build and optimize low-latency trading infrastructure in Dublin. You will work with engineers, researchers and business stakeholders on high-performance distributed systems.

You will own projects through the full SDLC, tackle complex performance challenges, and contribute to architectural decisions.

Qualifications

• Strong OS, concurrency, multithreading, networking and memory management knowledge.
• Experience building high-performance, highly available distributed systems.

As a C++ Developer, you will work closely with experienced engineers, researchers, and business stakeholders to design, build, and optimise critical trading infrastructure and applications. Requirements

• Experience within trading, financial markets, or another performance-critical environment.
• Knowledge of Linux systems programming.
• Experience with low-latency optimisation and performance analysis.
• Familiarity with large-scale data processing systems.
