Job summary

Autonomai Recruitment in Dublin is seeking a Full Stack Developer for Web Trading Applications. The role is primarily front-end focused, with back-end work, building high-performance interfaces used by traders in real time and contributing to scalable services and APIs.

You will collaborate with traders, quantitative teams, operations and engineers to translate complex requirements into intuitive products, implement real-time data flows via REST and WebSocket, and write clean, well-tested code

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency with React and familiarity with Node.js.
• Experience designing, building or consuming REST and WebSocket APIs.
• Experience with source code management (Git).
• Experience with databases such as MySQL/PostgreSQL.
• Strong object-oriented design skills.
• Genuine interest in trading, financial markets and real-time technology.

Responsibilities

• Design and build responsive, high-performance web interfaces for trading, analytics, visualisation and reporting applications.
• Develop reusable, maintainable front-end components using modern web technologies.
• Build and integrate with scalable backend services and APIs.
• Design and implement real-time data flows using REST and WebSocket-based architectures.
• Contribute to application architecture, technical design and engineering best practices.
• Work with databases to support data-driven trading and analytics functionality.
• Collaborate with traders, quantitative teams, operations and engineers to translate complex requirements into intuitive products.
• Write clean, well-tested and production-ready code.
• Help ensure applications remain fast, reliable and usable under real-time, data-intensive conditions.
