Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5–8 years' experience in full-stack development in an enterprise environment.
• Strong experience with React, Next.js, Node.js, TypeScript and modern web development frameworks.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and Azure Functions.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, Git and DevOps practices.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evolve the front-end architecture, ensuring solutions remain maintainable, scalable and platform-agnostic.
• Build responsive, accessible user interfaces and reusable front-end components using modern frameworks and headless CMS platforms.
• Use modern web development tools and technologies to build and improve websites, apps and other digital products.
• Optimise performance, accessibility, consent and analytics tracking.
• Develop and support applications, APIs, integration services and automation solutions.
• Work with databases, APIs and cloud services to deliver reliable, maintainable and high performing solutions.
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation technologies to improve customer experiences, internal processes and developer productivity.
• Design and implement API-first solutions, integration services and automation workflows that connect business platforms and reduce manual processes.
• Use APIs, webhooks, messaging, middleware and scheduled processes to support realtime and batch integration.
• Implement validation, error handling, logging and recovery to keep integrations reliable and secure.
• Develop and support cloud-based applications and services using Microsoft Azure.
• Use Azure Functions and related services for hosting, storage, messaging, APIs and monitoring.
• Maintain source code in approved GitHub or Azure DevOps repositories.
• Build automated testing, code quality and deployment pipelines.
• Support controlled releases, documentation and rollback procedures.
• Adhere to industry best practices by writing clean, maintainable code.
• Develop automated tests and conduct thorough unit and integration testing to resolve defects and reduce technical debt.
• Engage collaboratively with Digital, BI, Marketing and Product teams to gather and refine requirements.
• Promote product innovation by identifying technical improvements and adopting emerging solutions, keeping integrations ahead of industry trends.
• Contribute to sprint planning and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
• Collaborate with external development and support partners where required.
• Support the migration and modernization of digital platforms, including front-end applications, CMS platforms and supporting integrations.
