Job summary

SMBC is seeking a highly experienced Senior Full Stack Azure Developer to design, build and deploy enterprise-grade cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure. You will work on React.js frontend, Java (Spring Boot) backend, and TypeScript with Node.js, delivering microservices and RESTful APIs.

You will report to the Executive Director of Corporate Banking Application Development and operate in a hybrid model, attending the Tralee office weekly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Azure or cloud-related certifications.
• Proven leadership in cross-functional teams and Agile environments.
• 8+ years of professional software development experience in full stack roles.
• Expert-level skills in React.js, Java, and web application architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of React.js frontend and Java/Spring Boot backend.
• Architect scalable microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Apply advanced OOP principles and design patterns.
• Develop cloud-native solutions on Azure (APIM, Functions, App Services) and databases.
