Job summary

The Recruitment Company is assisting a well established organisation in Ireland to hire a Full-Stack Engineer to join a team modernising its digital platforms and moving towards a scalable, cloud-based environment.

This hands-on role involves development, integrations and platform modernisation, with a real opportunity to impact the digital estate in the coming years.

Qualifications

• : 4+ years of commercial full-stack development experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance modern web applications and digital experiences.
• Build, consume and maintain APIs and integrations between business systems.
• Support the ongoing migration and modernisation of existing digital platforms.
• Work with Azure services to monitor, manage and improve integrations.
• Develop clean, maintainable and secure code, with appropriate automated testing.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, releases and production support.
• Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into practical solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external technology partners across different platforms.
• Identify opportunities to improve existing systems, processes and the overall digital experience.

I’m working with a well established organisation on a Full-Stack Engineer opportunity, joining a team that is modernising its digital platforms and moving towards a more scalable, cloud-based technology environment. It’s a hands‑on role with a good mix of development, integrations and platform modernisation, with the opportunity to have a genuine impact on how their digital estate evolves over the coming years.

Your experience

• 4+ years’ commercial experience in full-stack software development.
• Strong experience with React, TypeScript and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Experience with Node.js and building/working with REST APIs.
• Good understanding of Azure and cloud-based services, ideally including Azure Functions.
• Comfortable working with integrations and connecting different applications and platforms.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including Git, CI/CD and automated testing.
• Experience working on platform upgrades, migrations or modernisation projects would be beneficial.
• Able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• You don't need to have every technology listed — strong core development skills and the ability to learn are more important.
