Job summary

Collins McNicholas Recruitment is seeking an experienced Software Engineer for a fully remote role. You will work across the full tech stack, building scalable web apps with Next.js, React, Node.js, .NET/C# and TypeScript.

You’ll contribute to cloud-native solutions on Azure, write clean, testable code and participate in Agile ceremonies and CI/CD processes. A hands-on engineer with strong architecture and collaboration skills will excel here.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Experience with Next.js, React.js and Node.js in production.
• Backend development with .NET/C# and REST/GraphQL.
• Experience with Azure, including Functions and Cosmos DB.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and Docker.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and testing frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain full-stack applications using Next.js, Node.js, .NET/C# and TypeScript.
• Build responsive, accessible and high-performance user interfaces for customer-facing platforms.
• Develop backend services and APIs using REST and GraphQL.
• Write clean, testable code with frameworks like Jest, xUnit or NUnit.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability and reliability.
• Integrate applications with third-party platforms and services.
• Develop and support cloud-native solutions using Azure Functions and Service Bus.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning and code reviews.
• Contribute to CI/CD processes and automated testing and deployment pipelines.
