Job summary

Stripe is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join Abuse Operations in Dublin. You will lead live fraud and abuse incident responses, investigate high-risk accounts, and drive improvements to threat detection and remediation.

You will work across legal, policy, and threat intelligence teams, collaborating with merchants and engineers to strengthen Stripe's product integrity and protect users.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in security or fraud incident response.
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Strong Python and SQL, plus log analysis and forensics exposure.

Responsibilities

• Respond to live fraud and abuse incidents as a Forward Deployed Security Engineer.
• Investigate high-risk accounts and drive remediation.
• Develop incident response playbooks and automate workflows.
