Generator Dublin, a vibrant hostel brand, is seeking a Night Front Office team member. If you are passionate about people, motivated, and organised, start your journey with us to create unforgettable experiences in Dublin.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of guest journey and raise the bar for Generator experience.
• Know your guests and be passionate about independent travel.
• Own guest complaints and resolve them promptly.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain brand culture.
• Monitor social spaces to reflect Generator's brand at all times.
• Be aware of local cafes, bars, and attractions to advise guests.
• Handle cash during shifts and follow 100% accurate procedures.

ABOUT GENERATOR DUBLIN

You’ll find Generator Dublin in the hip Smithfield neighbourhood, adjacent to the Jameson Distillery, just a short walk from Temple Bar. The hostel’s open social spaces and café and bar, with its reclaimed wood, exposed brickwork and original stonework, give the place an unruffled industrial feel.

From the Irish music belting out of Temple Bar pubs to the elegant splendour of Georgian terraces and squares, the city has many fascinating faces, every one of them ready to greet you with a welcoming smile and a pint of Guinness.

NUTS AND BOLTS OF THE JOB

• Take ownership of the guest journey to ensure that you continuously raise the bar and create a truly unique Generator experience
• Know your guests and have a passion for independent travel and the road less travelled
• Own guest complaints and resolve them yourself
• Demonstrate a passion for delivering outstanding customer service
• Be part of a great team within your department that get Generator and want to be themselves
• Monitor our social spaces, lighting, sound and temperature, to make sure they embody the Generator brand and culture at all times
• Know your city, its cafés, bars and restaurants, its art, its music
• Ensure you comply with all company policies you have been trained on, which include Fire Training and Health & Safety and Food Hygiene
• Be Responsible for all cash handling whilst you are on duty
• Correctly administer the Shift procedures every shift with 100% accuracy and consistency
