Job summary

The Louis Fitzgerald Group is seeking a dynamic restaurant supervisor for Quay Street to support daily operations, motivate staff, and ensure top-tier customer service.

Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, you will oversee front-of-house on shift, coach and onboard staff, and uphold health and safety standards in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Flexibility with evenings and weekends is required as service levels vary.

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory or senior team member role within the Irish hospitality industry.
• Natural leader who motivates and supports colleagues under pressure.
• Good working knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Organised, reliable, and able to multitask during busy service.
• Excellent communication with customers and team; flexible with hours including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Leading front-of-house operations during shifts, stepping in to resolve issues as they arise.
• Supervising, coaching, and motivating team members, helping onboard and train new staff.
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene standards during service.
• Handling customer queries and complaints on shift, escalating to the Restaurant Manager where needed.
• Supporting with opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and shift reporting.
