Job summary

GRN Search Group in Dublin is seeking an experienced Freight Sales Executive to drive new business across Ireland. You will manage your diary and pipeline, develop freight solutions, and work with Road, Air and Ocean freight teams to win profitable accounts.

You will benefit from extensive prospect lists, a structured approach to sales, and progression into leadership roles. A vehicle, uncapped commission and bonus are part of the package.

Qualifications

• Experience in Freight Forwarding sales or business development.
• Background in Road, Air or Ocean freight is desirable.
• Strong commercial drive with proactive, new-business approach.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across Ireland.
• Work through existing prospect lists and market intelligence.
• Re-engage previous customers and identify new commercial opportunities.
• Arrange and attend targeted meetings with prospective customers.
• Understand customer freight requirements and develop appropriate solutions.
• Collaborate with Road, Air and Ocean freight teams on rates and proposals.
• Convert opportunities into profitable, long-term accounts.
• Build relationships with key decision-makers and senior stakeholders.
• Manage your own sales activity, diary and pipeline.
• Identify new sectors, commodities and markets for future growth.
