Job summary

Logiskills Group in Dublin North is seeking an experienced European Road Freight Sales Executive to develop and win new business across freight and logistics services. The role focuses on building a profitable sales pipeline and securing European road freight customers for Ireland.

The candidate should have an established local network and be able to drive growth with a results-driven approach, while benefiting from a €50-55k salary plus company car and 10% commission.

Qualifications

• Experienced freight salesperson who knows the local market.
• Experience selling European road freight, customs, warehousing or related logistics services.
• Existing network of Irish importers, exporters, manufacturers or distributors.
• Proven ability to generate leads, arrange meetings and convert opportunities into customers.
• Strong commercial and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage sales pipeline.
• Results-driven with strong focus on profitable business.

Job description

Title: European Road Freight Sales Exec

Location: Dublin North

Terms: Full-time permanent, Monday-Friday, normal hours

Package: €50-55k + Car + 10% Commission

A long-established North Dublin-based freight forwarder now seeks an experienced Freight Sales Executive. This is a business-development role for someone who already knows the local freight industry, understands how to identify and win profitable customers, and is comfortable developing their own sales pipeline. Experience selling European road freight into Ireland, particularly from markets such as the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Poland, Italy and Spain, would be a significant advantage.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Developing new business across freight and logistics services, including: European FTL and LTL road freight, Import and export freight services, Customs clearance, Specialist customs and veterinary clearance services, Warehousing and distribution, Container and international freight movements
• Winning new customers and developing profitable, recurring freight business.

Minimum Requirements:

• An experienced freight salesperson who knows the local market, enjoys opening doors and wants to be rewarded for bringing profitable new business.
• Experience selling European road freight, customs, warehousing or related logistics services
• An existing network of contacts within Irish importers, exporters, manufacturers or distributors
• A proven ability to generate leads, arrange meetings and convert opportunities into customers
• Strong commercial and negotiation skills
• The ability to work independently and manage their own sales pipeline
• A results-driven approach with a strong focus on profitable business
