Job summary

Airport Staff in Dublin North is seeking a Freight Pricing Executive to manage customer enquiries and prepare competitive air and sea freight quotations. You will convert opportunities into bookings and build strong client relationships while delivering tailored logistics solutions.

This role requires 1–2 years in freight forwarding and offers a performance bonus, company pension, and ongoing professional development. 9am–5:30pm, own car essential.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years' experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related industry.
• Strong knowledge of air and sea freight operations.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Experience using Salesforce, CargoWise or similar CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and competitive air and sea freight quotations.
• Provide expert advice on freight forwarding products and services.
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer and partner enquiries.
• Follow up on quotations to maximise conversion rates and secure bookings.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through telephone, email, and other communication channels.
• Understand customer requirements and provide tailored logistics solutions.
• Convert enquiries and quotations into confirmed freight bookings.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities through lead generation, referrals, and relationship-building activities.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of freight forwarding services, market conditions, and industry developments.
• Accurately update and maintain customer information within Salesforce.
• Manage the credit application process for new customer onboarding and billing setup within CargoWise.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
