Job summary

Three Ireland (Hutchison) Limited is seeking a Fraud Analyst to identify, investigate and prevent fraud across customer journeys. The role combines fraud investigation, data analysis, monitoring and control improvement to tackle emerging threats and protect customers and the business from financial loss.

You will work closely with Fraud, Credit Risk, Finance, Technology, Data and Commercial teams in a hands-on analytical capacity and develop a career in fraud and risk.

Qualifications

• Experience in an analytical, investigative, risk, fraud or financial services environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot unusual patterns.
• Strong Excel skills and data confidence.
• Ability to investigate problems and reach logical conclusions.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to explain findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple investigations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor customer and transaction activity for indicators of fraud.
• Investigate potentially fraudulent orders, accounts and activity.
• Escalate significant or emerging fraud risks to Fraud & Credit Risk teams.
• Analyse fraud performance and identify trends and threats.
• Produce regular reporting on fraud volumes, losses, acceptance and detection rates.
• Support testing of new fraud rules and controls.
