Job summary

Co-operative Housing Ireland (CHI) is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Officer in Dublin, with a hybrid working pattern. You will support the FP&A function across long-range forecasts, investment appraisals, and modelling, under the guidance of the Financial Planning Manager.

You will work with data-heavy analyses, contribute to budgets, reporting, and financial controls, and help develop AI-enabled planning tools and new financial systems for CHI's housing delivery in Ireland.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified or qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or equivalent.
• Experience in FP&A with long-term forecasts, investments, large datasets, and modelling.
• Proficiency in Advanced Excel, Power Query, Power BI, and related planning tools.
• Experience in team settings and cross-functional collaboration.
• Track record of timely delivery of tasks and deliverables.
• Excellent communication to report financial insights clearly.
• Analytical mindset, curiosity, and interest in cooperative housing.

Responsibilities

• Produce short, medium, and long-term financial planning forecasts and analysis.
• Contribute to written reports under supervision of the Financial Planning Manager.
• Financial review of investments in homes under guidance of FP&A Manager.
• Maintain investment appraisal models and related reporting enhancements.
• Assist with budgeting, cost analysis, and value-for-money assessments.
• Adhere to AHBRA financial standards and compliance requirements.
• Provide essential financial support for ongoing and new projects as directed.
• Develop AI tools in financial planning and assist with new financial systems.
• Improve information flow between controllership and FP&A teams.
