Job summary

Our client in Naas, Co. Kildare, is seeking a reliable Reach Forklift Driver to join a growing team. The role combines forklift operation with administrative tasks and customer service.

The ideal candidate will hold valid Reach and Counterbalance licences, have warehouse experience, and be able to work both independently and as part of a team. Training and progression opportunities available within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Reach and Counterbalance licences mandatory.
• Previous warehouse experience in a similar role.
• Proficient computer skills; experience with warehouse management systems advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to handle client queries.
• Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible attitude during peak periods (early mornings / late evenings).

Responsibilities

• Operate Reach forklift safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload deliveries.
• Manage stock movement and maintain inventory records.
• Process goods in/out documentation.
• Update and maintain warehouse systems using internal software.
• Handle client queries professionally via phone and email.

Our client, a leading supplier within the food industry based in Naas, Co. Kildare, is currently seeking a reliable and motivated Reach Forklift Driver to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced warehouse professional who combines strong forklift skills with solid administrative and customer service abilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating Reach forkliftssafely and efficiently

• Loading and unloading deliveries

• Managing stock movement and inventory records

• Processing goods in/out documentation

• Updating and maintaining warehouse systems using internal software

• Handling client queries professionally via phone and email

• Coordinating with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations

• Supporting general warehouse duties as required

Requirements

• Valid Reach and Counterbalance forklift licences (essential)

• Previous warehouse experience in a similar role

• Strong computer skills (experience with warehouse management systems an advantage)

• Excellent communication skills and ability to deal with client queries

• Good attention to detail and organisational skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Flexible attitude during peak/busy periods (earlier mornings / later evenings)
